I will admit that some of the best fried chicken I have ever had had been in South Korea. Talk about a foodies paradise. Koreans learned to make fried chicken from African American G.I.'s during the Korean war. There are many ways to make perfectly crispy Korean Fried Chicken but the secret is the double fry method. Frying the chicken once seals in the flavor and then frying it the second time cooks it thoroughly and extra crispy. I like to serve mine with a sweet finger chili sauce but it's good just by itself.
